General Policy: No Refunds

All purchases of tokens on the Alighieri AI platform are considered final and non-refundable. Once tokens are credited to your account, they cannot be returned or exchanged for cash or credit. We encourage users to carefully consider their purchase decisions before completing a transaction.

Exceptions

While our general policy is no refunds, we may consider providing a refund in limited circumstances, solely at our discretion. These potential exceptions include:

  • Verified Technical Errors: If a demonstrable technical error on the Alighieri AI platform directly resulted in you not receiving the tokens you paid for, or prevented you from using the tokens as intended immediately after purchase.
  • Accidental Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same single token purchase due to a system error.

Requests based on changing your mind, dissatisfaction with the results generated using tokens, forgetting to cancel a subscription (if applicable), or unused tokens do not qualify for a refund.

How to Request a Refund Consideration

If you believe your situation falls under one of the potential exceptions listed above, you may request a refund consideration by contacting our support team via email. Please do not initiate chargebacks with your payment provider before contacting us, as this can delay the resolution process.

In your email, please include the following information:

  • Your full name and the email address associated with your Alighieri AI account.
  • The date of the purchase in question.
  • The transaction ID or order number (if available).
  • A clear and detailed explanation of the reason for your refund request, referencing one of the specific exceptions mentioned above.
  • Any relevant supporting documentation or screenshots (e.g., proof of technical error, duplicate charge confirmation).

Review Process

We will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We aim to respond to your request within 5-7 business days, although response times may vary. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. All decisions made by Alighieri AI regarding refunds are final.
